And We're Off!

3:45am - We left for Jeff Mottice's house. He then drove us to the airport. We checked in our two big suitcases and two bins (full of toys, clothes, and toothbrushes for HH), but sadly could not get the extra box of diapers checked in. But all is well, because we found a man in the airport who is going to give them to a family member in need.

11:12am - Called the kids one last time and boarded flight 501 to Addis!

Meanwhile, on the homefront, the kids were making "African pancakes," finding all the surprises and treats we left, and of course, playing chess and watching youtube videos!
