Some August Adventures

It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating Abbey’s first birthday…August 1st, 2011, Abbey turned 21!  The siblings ventured out on a road rally/scavenger hunt as Abbey collected special gifts throughout Lake County.   

We concluded at the beach just in time for the sunset and…

Early August was Hermela’s first “official” dentist appointment where big bro and sis offered some encouragement. No cavities!!  Hermela put a little mileage on her new bike with a family ride!  This was a great last adventure before Abbey boarded a plane back to CA. After two summers away from home, we were so blessed to have Abbey here for the summer!

Art work is a good thing to keep you busy when you’re  already missing your big sis!

The kids love to see the gardens growing.
