We enjoy living only a half hour from the Amish community. The kids and I headed to the outdoor market and tour of some of the Amish homes and buggies.
The horses on the streets didn't phase Hermela much. Probably because she was use to seeing this
and this in Ethiopia!
Despite the late start with gardening, we all enjoyed watching the sunflowers and zinnias grow, grow, grow!
Last year we received our “referral call” on the first night of soccer, August 31st!
This year we had a new member of the Bennett clan ON the soccer fields. This was the first night of soccer practice. She just loved it!
Our referral month anniversary came to a close with a little ET celebration.
God sets the lonely in families~Psalm 69:6
So thankful that God chose our family for Hermela!
